New for 2025, the NZ Life & Leisure Local Larder celebrates the region’s finest artisan food and drink. From craft gin and boutique wines to gourmet chutneys, teas, and alpine-inspired delicacies, this vibrant space is the ultimate destination for food lovers at the Wānaka A&P Show.

A highlight of the Local Larder is celebrity chef Peter Gordon, known as the “godfather of fusion cuisine.” Peter will take centre stage with live cooking demonstrations, sharing his expertise and creativity while showcasing how local artisan produce can be transformed into extraordinary dishes.

You can meet passionate producers like Taste of the Alps, Kiwi Artisan, Reefton Distilling Co., and many more. Sample their creations, hear the stories behind their products, and experience the exceptional quality that defines local craftsmanship. Exhibitors will also share their craft through tastings and live demonstrations, making the Local Larder a dynamic and flavorful hub of activity.

Located near the Show Office, open Friday and Saturday from 8.30am to 5pm.
