Volunteers are the heart of the Wānaka A&P Show, and we couldn’t do it without you! Whether you're keen to lend a hand, meet new people, or get a behind-the-scenes look at one of Wānaka’s biggest events, volunteering is a fantastic way to get involved. Many of our 200+ volunteers return each year because they love the experience!

Volunteer at the Show

From helping in hospitality areas to supporting our Event Delivery Team, there are plenty of ways to make a difference. Volunteers enjoy free Show entry, lunch, and refreshments in the President’s Tent as a thank-you for their time.

Community Group Fundraising Opportunities

Local clubs and community groups can also get involved through fundraising volunteer positions, with the Show giving back $45,000 annually to support local initiatives. It’s a great way to raise funds while being part of an iconic event.
